Information for participants

The workshop will be organized in INRAE, Jouy en Josas Domaine de Vilvert 78350 Jouy-en-Josas, France.  The INRAE campus is situated in Jouy-en-Josas (Ile-de-France)

Main Venue : The Jacques Poly Amphitheatre (building 440) Domaine de Vilvert 78350 Jouy-en-Josas, France

The workshop will start around 9:00 on Monday 3 Feb. and will end by 14:00 on Friday 7 Feb. Please make your travel plans to attend the full program.

Arrival on Sunday 2 Feb. evening is highly recommended to be able to reach Jouy-en-Josas in due time on Monday.

How to locate INRAE Jouy en Josas and the venue: 

NB: You need to present yourself at the reception to obtain a badge which will permit you to access to the Research Center. An identity card or passport is required to get the badge.

Please check the below website for information on public transport in The Île-de-France region (Paris and its region) : https://www.iledefrance-mobilites.fr/en. 

For your bus tickets purchase, you can buy a single-use ticket directly from the driver, at ticket machines, at Tobacco shops (Tabacs), via smartphone (Ile-de-France Mobilités App) or a Navigo Weekly Pass (more cost effective)

• For those who have booked IBIS - Jouy-en-Josas Domaine de la Cour Roland:

Take bus 6171 from the Pointe Ouest bus stop (2 mins walk from the hotel) towards Trois Canards,  get off at Montcel, and walk 4 mins to the research center (INRAE reception).

OR

Take bus 6132 from the Centre d'Affaires Petit Robinson bus stop (about 11 min walk from the hotel) towards Campus HEC, get off at Beuvron, then walk 6 mins to the research center (INRAE reception). 

OR 

Take bus 6133 from the Pointe Ouest bus stop (2 min walk from the hotel) towards Gare de Chaville Rive Droite. Get off at College Saint-Exupery. Then change to bus 6132 towards Campus HEC, get off at Beuvron, and walk 6 mins to the research center (INRAE reception). 

• For those who have booked hotels in Versailles: 

Take the V train from the Vesailles Chantier train station towards Massy Palaiseau. Get off at the Jouy-en-Josas station. Walk 12 minutes or take bus 6136 to the research center (INRAE reception).

• For those who have booked Best Western Plus Paris Saclay: 

Take bus 6132 from the Campus HEC bus stop (1 min walk from the hotel) towards Gare de Chaville Rive Droite, get off at Beuvron, then walk 6 mins to the research center (INRAE reception). 

NB: There is another 10 minute walk from the reception to the venue (Building 440). 

By car

• Take the N118 from the Paris rotary Porte de Saint-Cloud > Pont de Sèvres > Follow direction Bordeaux/Nantes – take exit 6A Jouy-en-Josas/Bièvres
• Take the N12 from Plaisir > Follow direction Paris exit 1 towards the D53
• Take the A12 Rambouillet > Jouy – take exit 2 via the D446

 By the RER (train to the suburbs)

- From Jouy-en-Josas:

If you have booked IBIS - Jouy-en-Josas Domaine de la Cour Roland: Take bus 6171 from the bus stop near the hotel to Montcel, walk for about 6 mins to the research center. Other bus options include 6132 and 6172.  

- From Versailles :

Departure : Versailles Chantiers RER C (V line) – (Direction Massy Palaiseau (termimus)). 2 stops 7 min, Get off at Jouy-en-Josas stop.

- From Massy - Palaiseau :

Departure : Massy - Palaiseau, Massy RER C (Direction Versailles Chantiers (Versailles)) 4 stops 13 min , Get off at Jouy-en-Josas stop. Departure : Palaiseau, Palaiseau RER B (Direction Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 (Terminal 2) (Tremblay-en-France)) Get off at the next stop 2 min : Massy - Palaiseau, Massy Then from Massy - Palaiseau, Massy , take RER C (Direction Versailles Chantiers (Versailles) 4 stops 13 min, Get off at Jouy-en-Josas stop.

- From Saint-Cyr-l'École:

Departure : Saint-Cyr, Saint-Cyr-l'École Train U (Direction La Défense (Puteaux)) or Train N (Direction Gare Montparnasse (Paris)) Get off at the next stop 6 min : Versailles Chantiers, Versailles Then, from Versailles Chantiers, Versailles, take the RER C (Direction Versailles Château Rive gauche) : 2 stops 7 min , get off at Jouy-en-Josas stop.

- From Paris Montparnasse :

Departure : Paris - Montparnasse Trainline N (Direction Rambouillet, or Mantes-la-jolie or Dreux) ; Get off at Versailles Chantiers stop. Then, from Versailles Chantiers, take RER C (Direction to Versailles Château Rive gauche), get off at Jouy-en-Josas stop

From the Orly Airport

Take the RER C MONA train from the Pont de Rungis Aeroport d’Orly train station. Get off at Massy – Palaiseau then change trains and take the CIME train towards Versailles Chantiers. Get off at the Jouy-en-Josas station

From the Charles de Gaulle - Roissy Airport

To go from the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to Jouy-en-Josas you may take :

• the RER B train towards St Remy les Chevreuses. Get off at the Massy Palaiseau station
• the RER C train towards Versailles Chantiers (CIME trains). Get off at Jouy-en-Josas.
